SPIELWARENMESSE 2025
PROJECT: STAND@SPIELWARENMESSE 2025
CLIENT (BRAND): MAGICBOX
SURFACE AREA: 100m2
LOCATION: NUREMBERG
Technical Requirements:
100m² with walls 2.5 meters high
Meeting room and storage area
Functionality as a core principle
Challenge:
The challenge was achieving a closed booth with private areas, without transgressing the regulations of the fair in terms of visibility.
Solving the balance between the client's need for privacy and this fair's openness requirements was the key to the customer satisfaction.
One of the solutions was the creation of a fully integrated window strategically positioned to meet this objective.
A thumbs up:
An IKEA-style design, where visitors are guided through the entire stand, moving through different areas to visually convey the experience of playing with Magicbox toys.
A thumbs down:
The mistake of not removing the plastic from the carpet right after setup. Normally, we recommend keeping the protective plastic until the very last moment. Unfortunately, on opening day, we discovered an oil stain on the pink carpet. Oil!!! We didn’t use any tools, and no one had entered the stand. To this day, we have no idea how it happened. In the end, ultra-tack cut vinyl in the shape of hearts covered the problem—crisis averted, and everyone happy.
An Efficiency Tip:
We hired Schenker for empties removal, assuming they had the exclusive contract, just like RESA at Fira Barcelona. They came and took the empty pallets. The problem arose when the client called us with the news that the company that removed our pallets wasn’t Schenker but Kuhne. They had mistakenly taken our materials because they had also hired the removal of their product pallets—with the 'other company.' Conclusion: Be careful in Nuremberg. There are two logistics companies, and they don’t seem too concerned about picking up the right pallet.
Interesting Facts:
The Nürburgring circuit is in Nuremberg 😊
A lap with a specially prepared car is priceless!! Well, actually, it costs 450 euros.
